What Happens to DNA Sample in the Lab?

GenoVive’s scientist analyzes your patient’s DNA in our CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments) certified lab. Your patient’s genetic information will be held in strictest confidence per HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) Guidelines. Upon review of the test results, the DNA sample will be destroyed in accordance with local, state and federal guidelines.
